Monetary assistance to family of deceased in Dhanla village: Bawankule

Nagpur: In a meeting held at Ravi Bhavan here on Monday, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankuels said that the bereaved family of deceased farmers, father and son, who had died of electrocution in Dhanla village under Mouda taluka in Nagpur district would be provided monetary assistance from state government.
He made this announcement in the meeting attended by Nagpur Zilla Parishad President Nisha Sawarkar, Nagpur Rural SP Dr Arati Singh, SE Kishor Kantode and other officials.
He further said, the aforesaid incident would be intimated to Chief Minister and monetary assistance from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund would be provided under the provisions of accidental crime, and it would be Rs 20,000.
It may be mentioned that both father and son died of electrocution caused by a live wire laid on the ground by poachers in the field to trap wildlife. He then directed the SP (Rural) to hunt for poachers. He also directed the MSEB and Forest Department officials to coordinate with the police.

Benefits of National Crop Insurance Scheme be given to farmers: Bawankule

In the Ravi Bhavan meeting on Monday Guardian Minister Bawankule said that the beneficiaries of National Crop Insurance Scheme to be provided the benefits due. Their list be obtained from the office of the CEO concerned and given to the banks concerned for Insurance Scheme claims and the amount be withdrawn, and the beneficiaries be accordingly benefited.
Present on this occasion were Nagpur ZP President Nisha Sawarkar, Collector Sachin Kurve, Nagpur ZP CEO Shivajirao Jondhale and others.
He directed the tahsildars to ensure that no beneficiary lags behind in receiving the benefits during past three years.

Housing scheme for electricity contract labourers: Bawankule

Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said at Ravi Bhavan that cheaper housings on Koradi based government land would be provided to electricity contract-labourers who have encroached upon the land on Block Nos 143 and 144 at Mahadula on the banks of rivers and nullahs since year 2000.
According to him, 450 sq ft housing each would be provided to those whose income happens to be less than Rs 20,000, for which MHADA and MSEB would bear the expenditure of construction.
Present on the occasion were Nagpur ZP president Nisha Sawarkar, Collector Sachin Kurve, ZP CEO Shivajirao Jondhale, CE Koradi Thermal Power Station, MHADA officials, tahsildars, COs of Nagar Panchayats and others.
Collector Sachn Kurve on this occasion informed that the final decision on housing scheme would be taken on October 26, 2015.
