Nagpur: A man was killed while another sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in the Mohpa area under Saoner Police Station limits on Wednesday.
The accident occurred near a roadside dhaba on the Mohpa-Kanyadol Road leading towards a local lake.

According to police, Harichandra Wandre was riding from Mohpa towards Kanyadol, while Harshal Tarasing Satpurkar was travelling in the opposite direction. The two motorcycles collided head-on near the dhaba with tremendous impact.
Harshal died on the spot due to severe injuries, while Harichandra sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Saoner Police reached the accident site soon after receiving information, conducted the spot panchnama and registered a case. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
