The Steel & Hardware Chamber of Vidarbha (SHCV), the apex body of entrepreneurs from the Vidarbha region engaged in the business of iron, steel and hardware, is organizing its annual “Diwali Parivarik Sneh Milan” on Sunday, 15th November 2026, at Naivedhyam Estoria, Bharat Nagar Chowk, Kalmana Market Road, Nagpur 440008, from 7:00 p.m. onwards.
The event is being hosted with the gracious support of Sanvijay Rolling & Engineering Limited, Tirupati Balaji Steel and JSK Corporation Private Limited.Sanjay K Agrawal, President-SHCV, informed that this year the Chamber will felicitate Shri Mohan Bindraban Agrawal of Rajesh Steel Industries with the ‘Steel Chamber Metafence Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his long and distinguished contribution to the trade, industry and society at large.
Shri Mohan Agrawal, a former Vice President of the Chamber, carried the family’s steel trading business into manufacturing, with units in Nagpur, Bhilai and Hyderabad covering the chain from sponge iron to finished rolled products. He was elected President of the Vidarbha Industries Association for ten consecutive terms from 1998 and led the region’s industry for a decade. In 2014 he co-founded the Nagpur Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, where one in every five patients, drawn from below the poverty line, is treated at government-approved rates.
Continuing its long-standing tradition, the Chamber will also felicitate couples from the fraternity who have completed their Silver (25 years) or Golden (50 years) wedding anniversaries, members and their family members who have completed 65 years of age, and those who have earned distinction in any field. The Chamber will further recognise the meritorious children of its members by presenting them with silver medals and certificates of appreciation for their academic achievements, informed Mukul Agrawal, Secretary-SHCV.
Manish Jejani, Jt. Secretary-SHCV shared that on this occasion the Chamber is organising “Deep Utsav Housie”, with the housie gifts sponsored by SDS Udyog.
Sr. Vice President Manoj Khemani, Vice President Dinesh Aggarwal and Treasurer Suryakant Agrawal extended a warm invitation to all members and their families to participate in the celebration and strengthen the spirit of unity and togetherness. They also requested members to send the names and particulars of the persons, couples and children eligible for felicitation to the Chamber office, or by email at steelchamberngp@gmail.com, by 5.00 p.m. on 31st October 2026, so that the Chamber may extend its invitation to them.
The event preparations are being undertaken with great enthusiasm by the entire Executive Committee, particularly the Entertainment and Sports Sub-committee of the Chamber.
