legendary actor Rajinikanth turns a year older on Monday. The LTamil Superstar, whose birthday is usually celebrated with much pomp and show, asked his fans not to celebrate the day as he was mourning the death of Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa. None the less, celebs and politicians made sure to send out their hearty greetings on his 66th birthday.
First in line was the Prime Minister of the country itself, Narenda Modi. He tweeted,” Happy birthday @superstarrajini! Wishing you a long life filled with good health.”
Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and ‘2.0’ co-star Akshay Kumar took to their social networking handles to post birthday wishes. Big B said,”It is Rajnikant’s birthday on Dec 12th and we wish him greater glory happiness and good health.”
On the other hand, King Khan called him the ‘coolest’ and ‘greatest’ star when he wished him saying,”To the coolest & greatest of em all. Wishing u health happiness & years of entertainment for us. Happy B’Day Thalaivaa.”
