Nagpur News : Senior BJP leader and former Party president from Nagpur, Nitin Jairam Gadkari, who is the new minister for Road Transport & Highways (RTH) and Shipping, in the Narendra Modi government arrived on Tuesday night.
A large number of BJP Local leaders and activists gave “a warm welcome” at the airport , prominent among those present was Maharastra BJP President Devendra Fadnavis, Nagpur BJP president Krishna Kopde , Dr.Ashis Deshmukh, Mayor Anil Sole,Avinash Thakre among many.

Sea of humanity pours in to wish the Hero of Nagpur city Nitin Gadkari a Happy Birthday and to welcome the Hero. At around 10:45 pm on May 27, 2014 Minister for the state for Shipping and Surface Transport arrived amid hoardes of well-wishers, BJP party activists, office-bearers of local BJP unit.
A twenty foot bouquet hiked by a crane was given to Nitin Gadkari. Neither the police nor the office-bearers could control the sea of well-wishers who thronged to just get close to him and to wish him. The security personnel had tough time in reaching Gadkari to the garland and back to his house, where he was to cut a big cake.
