Nagpur: A police case has been registered against Ajay Sadashiv Salame, a police personnel serving as the bodyguard of Maharashtra Minister Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, following a woman’s complaint alleging sexual exploitation.
According to the complaint, the woman alleged that Salame sexually exploited her after allegedly promising to marry her. She further alleged that he threatened to circulate her photographs and videos.
The complainant had approached Nagpur Rural Superintendent of Police Harsh Poddar and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ramesh Barkate with her allegations. Following directions from senior police officials, Ramtek police registered a case under the relevant sections and launched an investigation.

Salame had earlier reportedly served as the bodyguard of former MP Krupal Tumane, according to information that has emerged in the case.
Meanwhile, a case has also been registered against another woman in connection with the matter. No arrests have been made so far, and Ramtek police are continuing their investigation.
The allegations are part of an ongoing police investigation, and the accused are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
