Nagpur: In an audacious act, three ruffians abducted an 18-year old girl from her home itself that too in the presence of her mother. The midnight kidnapping created ripples in Pratap Nagar area. Cops have mounted a hunt to trace the girl as well as the kidnappers.
The complainant mother of the girl told police that she and her daughter (18) were sleeping on the night of Monday. Around midnight, the accused named Padda and his two accomplices barged into their house and forcibly took the girl away on a moped-like vehicle.
Pratap Nagar PSI Kuthe, based on the complaint, has booked the accused Padda and two others under Sections 363, 34 of IPC and launched a hunt to find the girl as well as the abductors.
