Nagpur: A 57-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping into a well in the Kalmegh Nagar area along Hingna Road, under the jurisdiction of MIDC Police Station. The reason behind the suspected suicide remains unknown.
The deceased has been identified as Dronacharya Mendhe, 57. According to police, Mendhe had been living alone in a rented house in the area for around five months.

Preliminary information suggests that Mendhe allegedly jumped into a well due to an unknown reason. After receiving information about the incident, MIDC Police reached the spot and initiated the necessary proceedings.
Based on a complaint filed by Bhagwan Solanki, who works as a security guard, police registered a case of accidental death and began an investigation.
Police are currently examining all aspects of the incident. The exact circumstances and reason behind Mendhe’s death are expected to become clear as the investigation progresses.
