A guest lecture titled “Empowering Girls through Awareness of Menstruation and Hygiene” was successfully conducted at Central India College of Pharmacy, Lonara, Nagpur, on 23rd April 2026 at 11:00 am in the seminar Hall.
Dr. Mugdha Jungari Gill, Principal Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Nagpur, delivered the session. Dr. Mugdha Jungari Gill shared her expertise on menstrual health, emphasising the importance of hygiene, awareness, and breaking the stigma associated with menstruation. She encouraged students to adopt healthy practices and spread awareness in society.
The program was formally inaugurated, and Dr. Mugdha Jungari Gill was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Gayatri Chinchulkar, Assistant Professor, Central India College of Pharmacy. The program was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Mohd. Saleemuddin Farooqui and Vice-Principal Dr. Sayyad Sajauddin Gulab, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of educating young minds on such crucial health topics. They appreciated the initiative taken by the institution in organising the session.
The guest lecture was conducted and coordinated by Ms. Kavita Khedade (Assistant Professor), Ms. Smita Meshram (Assistant Professor), and Ms. Rida Shaikh (Assistant Professor). The seminar was efficiently hosted by Ms. Madiha Khan, a Third Year B. Pharm student, who ensured the smooth flow of the event.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where students actively participated, asked questions, and gained valuable knowledge, making the lecture highly informative and impactful.
