Nagpur: The prolonged controversy over Ramdaspeth based prominent hotel and other businesses between the members of one of the prestigious family in the Second Capital of the State took ugly turn on Thursday, with some family members engaging in verbal dual and creating rucks at the hotel during arbitration process.
According to sources, one of the senior most member of the family started hurling abuses at the advocates and cause the ruckus at the hotel. The matter was brought under control only after intervention by top officials of Nagpur Police.
The Ramdaspeth based hotel was centre of controversy between the members of the family who owns Centre India’s largest Transport and Hospitality businesses. In the past too, several arguments erupted over the property dispute. This had also led to register couple of FIRs against family members. Following which there was rumours that the owners of the one of the prominent hotel of the city has decided to sell the hotel as a part of settlement.
On Thursday, a meeting between the family members was called at the hotel premises. However, an argument again broke out between them and Sitabuldi Police reached the spot. Following which top brass of Nagpur Police also intervened into the matter and directed to register FIR and seized the vehicles in this regards.
