Nagpur: The Mekosabagh Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal has prepared a special theme based on ‘Panchatatva’ (Five Elements) for this year’s Ganesh festival.
Mandal president Ashwin Lalwani said the 2026 theme has been designed to offer devotees a unique and meaningful experience.

Five Elements Featured in 5-Minute Presentation
A special five-minute story and visual presentation based on Panchatatva has been created inside the pandal. Through the presentation, devotees will be introduced to the five fundamental elements—Prithvi (Earth), Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air) and Akash (Space).
The story and visual display highlight the significance of these elements and their connection with human life and nature in an engaging manner.
Traditional Dhol Pathak to Promote Cultural Spirit
Keeping the issue of noise pollution in mind, the mandal has opted for a traditional Dhol Pathak performance instead of loud sound arrangements.
Traditional drum performances will be organised during the arrival and immersion of Ganpati Bappa, creating a cultural and festive atmosphere.
The mandal said the objective is not only to conduct the religious festival but also to introduce devotees and the younger generation to the importance of Indian culture, nature and Panchatatva.
Mandal vice-president Ame Peshwani appealed to devotees to visit with their family and friends to seek the blessings of Ganpati Bappa and experience the special five-minute Panchatatva presentation.
