Mumbai: Meenakshi Mishra a 1983 batch Officer of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service has assumed charge of Principal Accountnt General (Audit), Maharashtra. She succeeds Mala Sinha.
Meenakshi Mishra has had a rich and varied professional experience of audit having worked as Accountant General, Delhi, Principal Director of Commercial Audit and Ex-officio Member, Audit Board, Principal Director of Audit (Defence) and Principal Director of Audit (Railway etc. She has headed audit teams to the UN Peace keeping Force in Cyprus, World Health Organisation audit in Egypt and Yemen. Prior to her present assignment she was posted as Principal Accountant General (A&E), Mumbai.
Meenakshi Mishra is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
