Mediterranean Yummy delicacies appealed to palate of Nagpur epicureans

Nagpur: Who does not like good yummy food? Winter seasons in the city definitely invokes the ravishing hunger in the Nagpur epicureans to taste good good tasty food in the several food festivals organized in this season in the city. Tandoori Nights organized by students of Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is one such food festival which the citizens of the city await.

Students organized Food Festival “Tandoori Nights 2K16”. This year the students introduced Mediterranean Cuisine, which included Italian and Spanish dishes with more than 85 different types of preparations along with various mouth watering dishes from India, China along with Bakery items. The event was held from December 6 to December 11, 2016 at Tirpude College of Hotel Management, Civil Lines, Sadar, Nagpur.

All the Heads of the Departments from students itself worked hard and all the other students Coordinated accordingly, the students were guided by the faculty members. The students have been preparing for this food festival for the last five months. Their efforts and hard work did pay off and made the event a grand success.
All the dishes were prepared by the students and there were live counter as well. The response of the citizens of Nagpur made all the efforts of the worth their hard work. This year students attempted newer entertainment and regaled the visitors as their tasted the delicacies.

On December 6, 2016, the “Tandoori Nights 2K16” was inaugurated by Member, Standing Committee on Urban Development MLA Kapil Moreshwar Patil. Vanita Tirpude and Rajkumar Tirpude were prominently present during the inauguration. The students performed live music in front of the guest.

On the 2nd Day of the event, Students performed live music which included Flaring or Juggling with fire. There was an Anchor who interacted with the guests.

Food service team

On the 3rd Day, there were dance performances by the students and Juggling with fire accompanied by live music.
On the 4th Day, there was a huge crowd and the students managed to regale the visitors with mouth watering food and good music.

Family

On the 5th Day, live music, flaring and there were fashion show as well the response was huge from the crowed. Some of the guests too performed on live music on the stage, appreciated by other visitors.

On the 6th Day which was the last and final day of the Tandoori Nights 2016. The overwhelming response from the citizens of Nagpur was amazing. Apart from the live music, flaring, a Fashion show too was organized. The names of Lucky Draw winners were also declared and prizes were distributed. On all six days there was a Selfie contest as well. The guest uploaded there picture on the official page of Tandoori Nights, while having good time with their friends and family members. The overall event was huge success and food was amazing. The response of Nagpurians was certainly more than expected and the Food accompanied by the Entertainment was lauded by all.
