Nagpur: The Crime Branch has recovered a diary allegedly containing accounts of MD drug transactions from the Shravan Nagar residence of Vishal Gupta, alias ‘Falli’, who is facing action under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

A team from Crime Branch Unit 5 searched the house on Wednesday afternoon. The team seized the diary, a gold bracelet, two rings, earrings and some cash. The transactions recorded in the diary are being examined, and they are expected to provide important information about the alleged MD drug network.

Vishal Gupta, alias Falli, has been named in the firing incident at the Shravan Nagar residence of Congress corporator Shubham Motghare. MCOCA action was initiated against him over allegations of MD drug trafficking. He was recently arrested in Rameshwaram along with his female friend and brought to Nagpur.

According to the information available, Falli lived at the Shravan Nagar house with his female friend, Saheli Pandhram. Crime Branch Unit 5 Inspector Vinayak Golhe and his team obtained the key to the house and, under the guidance of senior officers, opened the lock and conducted the search. During a detailed inspection of the premises, the team found the diary allegedly linked to MD drug transactions.
