Nagpur: Vidarbha Body Builders and Fitness Association and Nagpur Municipal Corporation are jointly organizing “Mahapor Chashak Body Building Championship” (Mayor’s Cup Body Building Championship) on November 13, 2016. The one-day contest will be held at Kacchivisa Ground in Lakadganj in the evening from 6 pm to 10 pm. Prizes worth Rs 4.24 lakh will be awarded to winners and others.
This was announced by the Chairman of Standing Committee Sudhir Raut at a press conference here on Wednesday. Transport Committee Chairman Narendra Borkar, Sports Committee Chairman Harish Dikondwar, Satranjipura Zone Chairman Pravin Bhisikar, Vidarbha Body Building and Fitness Association Secretary Madhav Joshi, Treasurer Chandrashekhar Ghushe, Vice President Narayan Nighot, Founder Member Suresh Kalbhut, Joint Secretary Rajesh Tomar, Member Sudatta Ramteke, Deepak Gupta and others were present on the occasion.
The championship will be participated by around 100 players hailing from Vidarbha. The event will be managed by Vidarbha Body Builders and Fitness Association while the expenses will be incurred by NMC.
