Nagpur: Mayor Nanda Jichkar on Saturday inaugurated the 3-day ‘Making of Developed India’ (MODI) Festival being held at Chitnis Park. The aim of the festival is to highlight achievements and initiatives of the Central Government in the last three years.
The Mayor visited various stalls informing various flagship programmes and initiatives launched in the last three years by the Narendra Modi Government such as Digital India, Prime Minister Agriculture Scheme, Skill India, Empowerment of Women, and various measures undertaken for economic development of the nation. Stalls have also set up for taking selfie with the Prime Minister, registering of phone numbers for Jan Ki Baat, downloading of BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) app, NaMo (Narendra Modi) app etc.
The MODI Festival will remain open for general public from 11 am to 8 pm on June 10, 11 and 12.
The ‘Making of Developed India’ Festival is being held at 300 places across the country including Nagpur, Akola and Amravati in Vidarbha.
