MATH-A-THON inspires teamwork and coordination in young children.

Nagpur: Lions club of Nagpur Victory on October 14 organized an event called MATH-A-THON at Kradle To Crayons, Kadbi Chowk involving 53 children and parents with fun filled challenging math activities participated in which school going Children of age group of 4 to 10 year along with their parents participated in the MATH-A-THON event. Children were given problems related to Soduku to solve with help of their parents and were amazed by doing so.

Children were made to solve brain teasing puzzles with blocks, shapes and beads to practically perform and then crack the answer. In Math solving session Parents accompanied their children in finding the answers which they couldn’t as each task was unique. The child was made to realize the importance of experiential learning which is the motive of MATH-A-THON. The attending Parents were given opportunity to interact with their children and guide them to think creatively and solve brain tingling Math problem.

The President Ln. Adv. Hitesh Verma elucidated that in this era of digitization, realizing and identifying the need of Parents greater involvement with their tech savvy child.

Education Activity Chairperson Ln. Stuti Sharan exemplified that MATH-A-THON inspires teamwork and coordination between exploratory and inquisitive young child. Ln. Gagandeep Kaur, Ln. Harshita Verma, Ln. Satish Srivastava, Ln. Rahul Jaiswal and Ln. Praveen Sharan were also present during the MATH-A-THON.
