Nagpur: In another incident where the rash driving of a truck claimed the life of one, the truck of Suruchi Masala Company crushed to death a two wheeler to death on December 2, 2015, at 9:30 am.
According to sources, the rashly driven Suruchi Masala Truck bearing RTO Registration No MH-40 / Y 8530 crushed to death a two-wheeler Red Coloured Hero-Pleasure vehicle bearing RTO Registration No MH-33/ K-5341. The rider of the two-wheeler was killed on the spot. As soon as the police personnel received the information, police personnel of Hudkeshwar rushed to the spot.
Tension reigned supreme in the area when the residents of nearby areas expressed their displeasure over the rash driving of truck drivers. Some of the on-lookers had also started stone pelting over other vehicles.
The police personnel of Hudkeshwar Police Station pacified the crowd. Incidentally, the driver of the truck of Suruchi Masala Company had fled the spot.
The body of the deceased was dispatched to Government Medical College and Hospital for performing Post Mortem after performing panchanama.
Long line of vehicles stranded on the road
According to some eye-witnesses, till the accident vehicle was towed away from the road, many trucks and vehicles got stranded on the road for nearly 2 kilometers.
