Nagpur: A 38-year old married man slyly drugged a young woman, raped her and prepared video clip of the heinous act. The accused man thereafter blackmailed the woman with the obscene video clip and exploited her sexually for over two years. The lewd accused has been booked.
The victimized 28-year old woman in her complaint told police that the accused Kunal Ratanlal Joshi (38), resident of Shantinagar, near crematorium, first established friendship with her in May 2013. After making her a friend, the accused Kunal one day invited her for birthday celebrations of his friend staying in Bezonbagh. At the birthday party, Kunal offered the woman a cold drink laced with drugs.
The drug-laced drink soon knocked her semi-unconscious. Taking advantage of the situation, Kunal not only raped her but prepared a video clip of the heinous act. Later, armed with the obscene video clip, Kunal started blackmailing the woman and forced her to have physical relationship with him frequently from May 2013 to July 2015. However, fed with the blackmailing tactics and sexual exploitation by the accused, the woman finally lodged a complaint with Jaripatka police against him.
PSI M B Dubal, acting on her complaint, booked the accused Kunal Joshi under Sections 376, 354(C), (D) of IPC and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.
