Nagpur: Manager of Badjate Stock & Shares Pvt Ltd was duped to the tune of Rs 6 lakh by an unidentified person in the bogus share purchased deal.
A resident of Plot No. 103, Om Enclave, Gokul Society, Borgaon, the victim, Akhilesh Surendra Joshi (38), in complaint to police said that he is working as Manager at Badjate Stock & Shares Pvt Ltd situated at Sanjay Apartment, Plot No. 274, Dharampeth Extension. On July 4, 2017, he received a call from mobile phone 9321109092 and the unidentified caller asked him to purchase shares of Omansh Enterprises through a trading company. Accordingly, Akhilesh purchased shares valued at Rs 6.06 lakh. However, when he enquired about the shares and return of money, the company told him that the company had not asked anybody to purchase such shares. The unidentified person tricked Akhilesh by asking him to purchase the shares and thus cheated him to the tune of Rs 6.06 lakh.
Ambazari PSI Ambore has registered a case against the unidentified accused under Sections 419, 420 of the IPC and started investigations.
