Management Festival at DMSR, G S College organized

The MBA department of G S College in an endeavour of providing excellent academic developmental opportunities, recently concluded their three day Management Festival amidst high levels of vibrancy and enthusiasm in the campus. This festival comprised two major events; Shodh- A National Level Research Paper Presentation Competition and Management Fervor- An intercollegiate Management event which consisted of activities like Mock Stock Market, Business Quiz, Extempore and Debate.

The inaugural event of the Management Festival was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr Brijesh Dixit, MD MahaMetro who appealed to students to remain firmly attached to one’s roots and not forget the primary lessons inculcated in schools and colleges while following one’s dreams and passion. Mr Shashikant Chaudhary, President, TIE, Nagpur Chapter wooed the audience with his excellent oratory skills and shared management and industry experiences. Dr Vinayak Deshpande, HOD, DBM, RTMNU shared with students the importance of participating in such personality development events for enhancing recruitment options and having a fulfilling career. Dr Kapil Chandrayan, CA Suresh Kewalramani and Udayan Shrouti also graced the event as Judges for the competitions held under this festival.


Various management college students participated including Nagpur University’s Department of Business Management, Tirpude Institute of Management, Ramdeobaba Kamala Nehru College, Law College, VNIT, Kamala Nehru and Disha Management Institute from Raipur and other few colleges from Pune and Mumbai in this event.

The design, layout and the structure of the event took place under the guidance of Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman, Shiksha Mandal and the effective implementation under the support and direction of Principal, Dr N Y Khandait. Dr Ashwini Purohit, Director, DMSR facilitated the smooth functioning of the event. Dr Archana Dadhe and Prof Sumant Wachasunder who coordinated the events, worked hard for the success of program alongwith the other faculty members and students.
