Man leaves 18-page suicide note before ending life in Pratap Nagar

Nagpur: A 35-year-old man living in Chintamani Apartment in Snehnagar, Pratap Nagar police limits wrote an 18-page suicide note before ending his life. This incident took place between 11 am and 8:30 pm on Tuesday. The name of the deceased is Yogesh Daulatrao Pane (35).

According to police, the deceased was a security guard. When the wife came home at 8:30 on Tuesday night, her husband did not open the door. Scared, she informed her brother over the phone. When the brother came with a friend and broke the door, he found Yogesh hanging himself with an electric wire. He informed the Pratap Nagar police about the incident. The police reached the spot and sent the body to the GMCH for post-mortem.

Police found an 18-page suicide note left behind by the deceased. It was repeatedly written only ‘I am responsible for my death’. The exact cause of his suicide is not known.

Pratap Nagar police have registered a case of accidental death and are probing the matter.

Similarly in MIDC police jurisdiction, a 52-year old man committed suicide by hanging to the hook with the help of a nylon rope at his residence in Gajanan Nagar, Electronics Zone around 2.30 pm on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Anand Ghorde. The exact reason behind Ashok’s extreme step could not be ascertained as yet.

MIDC API Borkhede has registered an accidental case and is probing the matter further.
