Nagpur: An unidentified speeding vehicle knocked a two-wheeler rider to death in Hansapuri area here on February 25 evening. The driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the spot after the accident and is being searched.
The deceased Rajesh Danav (44), resident of Hansapuri, Chhoti Khadan, was going on his two-wheeler (MH-49/6268) on Saturday evening. Midway, the unidentified vehicle dashed Rajesh’s two-wheeler from behind injuring him fatally. The driver of the vehicle fled the spot fearing wrath by nearby people. The critically injured Rajesh was taken to a hospital where he died around 7.30 pm on Sunday during the course of treatment.
Tehsil police have registered a case against the unidentified driver and searching him.
