Nagpur: Furious over the repeated comments about his sister’s love marriage, a youth in her 20s beat another youth of his age to death. The incident happened in Sai Nagar in Kharbi area on Monday. The deceased Dinkesh Narayanrao Barewar has been residing in the neighbourhood of accused Rahul Kamble. Dinkesh had helped Rahul’s sister to marry her lover without her family’s consent.
Dinkesh who worked in a printing press often pulled up Rahul by claiming that he got his sister married to her lover. Dinkesh has been repeatedly making fun of Rahul over the issue. This cultivated anger in Rahul who was privately employed in the work of issuing Aadhar Cards.
On Monday, while Rahul was on his way home, Dinkesh again caught this opportunity to have his way and started passing comments on him. He even challenged Rahul to do whatever he could. This act infuriated Rahul to such an extent that he pulled up a stick and hit Dinkesh on his head. Dinkesh collapsed on the spot. Later Dinkesh was declared death upon taking him to Government Medical college.
Nandanvan police have taken Kamble in custody and booked him for murder.
