Nagpur: A man and his two sons murdered a 33-year old man over gambling money dispute in Shantinagar area here on Sunday evening. The accused trio has been arrested.
The deceased has been identified as Pravin Natthuji Gaidhane (33), resident of Shantinagar, near Nayapura High School.
A dispute over gambling money was raging between the deceased and the accused Leeladhar Shalikram Nagpure (55) and his two sons Omprakash Leeladhar Nagpure (20) and Kundan Leeladhar Nagpure (22), all residents of Nalanda Square, Nayapura, Shantinagar.
On Sunday around 6.30 pm, the accused trio went to Pravin’s house, pulled him out and took him to some distance. Later the accused thrashed Pravin severely and also attacked him with lathis. Pravin received serious head injuries and died on the spot.
Shantinagar ASI V N Khobragade, based on a complaint lodged by Priyanka Pravin Gaidhane, wife of deceased, booked the accused Leeladhar Nagpure, Omprakash Nagpure Kundan Nagpure under Sections 302, 34 of the IPC and arrested them. Further probe is underway.
