Nagpur: Koradi police have booked a man who promised a 23-year old woman to marry with her, forced her to break up her fixed marriage and then molested her on a road.
A resident of Besa, the accused has been identified as Anmol Suresh Meher (26).
According to the complainant 23-year old woman, the accused Anmol, between March 3 and 9, 2019, doled out a promise to marry her and then forced her to break up her fixed marriage. Thereafter, the accused chased her frequently and stopped her on the road. The accused indulged in vulgar act and outraged her modesty.
Koradi police constable Rajesh Baghel, based on the victim woman’s complaint, booked the accused Anmol Meher under Sections 354(D), 341, 506 of the IPC and launched a probe.
