Nagpur:
On behalf of IAF, Headquarters Maintenance Command and Base Repairs Depots (BRDs) have set-up a stall in Hall ‘D’ at Aero India-2017 at Bengaluru. The stall contains about 130 technologically complex aviation spares which need to be indigenised.

The event is serving as an excellent platform, where-in, the indigenisation needs of BRDs and capabilities of Indian Aviation industries are mutually shared and understood. The response to the stall has been overwhelming, with large number of Indian firms showing keen interest in undertaking design and developmental activities and to participate in the self reliance efforts of IAF.

Stall was visited by Air Marshal Pankaj Aneja VSM, AOC-In-C, MC on Wednesday. He emphasized further follow-up actions so as to translate the discussions into practical results.
