Nagpur: Against the backdrop of the BJP’s recent setbacks in the Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis sought to rejuvenate the spirits of his party workers. Speaking at a program in Nagpur on Sunday, Fadnavis assured BJP workers, “Don’t be disheartened. I will bring our government back to power in Maharashtra within three months.” He expressed confidence in reinstating the Mahayuti Alliance government in the state.
“We got so used to winning after 2014 that even a single election loss demoralizes our workers. But it’s time to change that mindset. I promise you, within three months, our government will be back in power. Our fight is to establish a people’s government. So, prepare yourselves with all your strength,” Fadnavis urged the party members.
During his speech, Fadnavis also highlighted the various completed and proposed development projects in Nagpur. He mentioned initiatives for tribal students and the significant investments brought into Vidarbha through the efforts of Nitin Gadkari. He assured that the Nal Ganga project would receive cabinet approval in the next session.
Key Instructions to BJP Workers from Devendra Fadnavis
Fadnavis advised BJP workers to learn from the Lok Sabha election defeat and work diligently for the upcoming assembly elections. He remarked, “Our workers do excellent work but lack in marketing their achievements compared to our opponents. Now, it’s time to showcase your work to the public. Our opponents are skilled at making election promises and marketing them effectively. You should do the same and show your accomplishments to the people.”
Fadnavis also addressed the issue of fatigue among party members, urging them to abandon the complacent “let it be” attitude. He encouraged the enthusiastic workers to focus on their tasks without getting distracted by the camera.
