Maharashtra passes bill allowing theatres, malls to stay open 24X7

Mumbai/Nagpur: The Maharashtra government on Wednesday passed the Shops and Establishment (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Bill, enabling restaurants, multiplexes and malls to remain open through the night or even 24X7. However, they will still have to seek police permission.
