Nagpur: On the ausipicious occasion of Nag Panchami, Maharashtra Metro M.D. Dr. Brijesh Dixit, launched Buland, an Electric vehicle that will help ‘shunt’ metro coaches and locomotive on tracks and will also check the tracks that have been laid at the Mihan Metro.
Dixit did ‘puja’ of Buland and launched it on the newly laid metro tracks.
Buland ran 100 meters towards the Airport.
This was the first big step for Nagpur Metro; 3 coaches have already arrived from Hyderabad and they will be undergoing trial runs too by end of August.
A team of nine is training for one and half months as drivers of Metro.
If things so as per schedule Dr. Dixit is confident that RDSO will give date for final launch by August end.
