Maharashtra Exit Polls: BJP-Sena to score big predicts exit polls

The Lok Sabha polls were held in Maharashtra in four phases, the first one starting from the Vidharbha region on 11 April. In terms of Lok Sabha seats Maharashtra sends the second most number of representatives after Uttar Pradesh.

A total of 48 seats are there in Maharashtra. In this live blog the focus will be on India’s second largest state in terms of Lok Sabha seats.

The India Today Axis My India exit poll results have predicted a major victory for BJP-Shiv Sena alliance in Maharashtra. The NDA is likely to bag 38-42 seats in Maharashtra, UPA, on the other hand, may manage to grab 6-10 seats in this Lok Sabha Election. In Maharashtra, NDA had bagged 43 of the 48 seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha Election.
