Nagpur: The vivacity and confidence players from Maharashtra exuded, both from the boys as well as the girls’ categories on emerging champions in the Junior National Softball Chamionship of the 63rd National School Games, spoke volumes of their determination to rise to excellence and be counted among the best in Mankapur on Saturday. All of this seemed so much in line with what Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore means to achieve, by infusing life into sports at the school and college level, taking talent spotting seriously. Mukul Deshpande was the chief referee. He was assisted by Akshay Yeole,Swapnil Raut, Pankaj Shelotkar and Harshal Morey. National softball coachChetan Mahadik played akey role in conducting of this meet.
