Nagpur: In an audacious act, a lovelorn youth and his five friends, all hailing from Gondia district, entered into a young girl’s house in Dhantoli area and outraged her modesty by indulging in vulgar acts. The accused also thrashed the girl and threatened to kill her. The incident took place in the wee hours of Thursday. No arrests have been made in this connection.
According to complaint lodged by the 20-year old girl, resident of Dhantoli area, the accused Gaurav Avinash Dalal (25) and his friends Vaibhav Thakre (20), Rahul Sahare and two other unidentified accomplices, all hailing from Tirora, Gondia district, entered her house at dead of night between 0130 and 0200 hours of Thursday. The lovelorn accused Gaurav Dalal asked the girl to continue their love affair. However, the girl refused, all the accused outraged her modesty by indulging in indecent acts, thrashed her and threatened to kill her.
Dhantoli PSI B G Rathod has registered a case against the accused under Sections 354, 453, 323, 504, 506(B), 34 of the IPC. Further probe is underway. No arrests have been made in the case so far.
In similar incident, a 22-year old man named Vishal Chavan, resident of Indira Mata Nagar, MIDC, entered into a 17-year old girl’s house around 1 pm on Wednesday. The accused gagged the girl and molested her. At the same time, father and brother of the girl arrived. The accused manhandled them and warned of dire consequences.
Based on the girl’s complaint, MIDC PSI Wankhede booked the accused Vishal Chavan under Sections 354, 452, 506 of the IPC read with Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Further probe is underway.
