Nagpur News: A minor girl took her life by consuming poison in a public garden at Dattatreya Nagar today. The cause of suicide is suspected to be a failed love affair.
According to sources, young Rani (name changed), a minor, called her friend’s elder brother Ashok (name changed) from her phone and informed him that she was in the NIT (Nagpur Improvement Trust) garden in the area and that she has already taken poison.
An alarmed Ashok rushed to the garden, where he found Rani vomiting. He took her to a nearby hospital where she was admitted. She breathed her last during treatment.
Sakkardara Police have registered a case of suicide. Investigations are underway.
