Nagpur, 2 September 2026 — Londe Jewellers Gold & Diamonds, in business in Nagpur since 1989, has entered the final week of its 37th anniversary offer, which gives flat Rs 899 per gram making charges on 22K gold jewellery on a limited selection of stock. The offer opened on 15 August and closes on 10 September, across the jeweller’s four Nagpur showrooms.
The offer applies to limited anniversary stock only, not to the full range, and runs while that stock lasts. Pieces are not restocked at the anniversary making charge once they are sold.
The timing is worth noting for festive buyers. The offer ends on 10 September, four days before Ganesh Chaturthi on 14 September. Gold bought after the closing date carries the jeweller’s regular making charges, which means the anniversary rate ends precisely as the festive buying season in Vidarbha begins and runs on through Dhanteras and Diwali in November.
Making charges are the fabrication cost added on top of the metal value, and across most of the market they are quoted as a percentage of the gold price rather than a fixed amount. Because that percentage moves with the rate, buyers often cannot work out the final figure before they reach the counter. Fixing it at a flat rupee figure per gram lets a customer calculate the making component in advance.
The house was founded in Nagpur in 1989 and has served more than five lakh families across Vidarbha since. It runs four showrooms in the city, at Sitabuldi, Gokulpeth, Manish Nagar and Nandanvan, each carrying the same range, the same pricing and the same policies.
Alongside the anniversary offer, the practices the house is known for locally continue to apply. Every gold piece is BIS hallmarked. Diamonds are natural stones supplied with IGI or GIA certification, and the house does not stock lab grown diamonds. Each showroom keeps a karat meter at the counter, and customers may bring gold bought anywhere, from any jeweller, and have its purity tested in front of them free of charge with no obligation to buy. On exchange, the house pays the full prevailing market rate on 22K and 24K BIS hallmarked gold with zero deduction, as a standing policy rather than a festival scheme.
“Thirty seven years is not something we built, it is something Nagpur gave us. Every family that walked in and then sent their sister or their neighbour is why we are still here. We kept the anniversary stock deliberately limited because we wanted to do this properly rather than thinly, and once those pieces are gone they are gone. If you have a Ganesh purchase or a wedding in the house coming up, this week is the week to come in.”
