Nagpur: Lokjagruti Morcha celebrated the 17th anniversary with great enthusiasm recently. The programme was held at Lokmanya Complex, Reshimbagh, Nagpur. The Nagpur Mahanagar Executive Committee of the organization was also announced on this occasion.
The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by guests and garlanding of portraits of Bharat Mata and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vijay Borikar created an atmosphere of consciousness by presenting the song of Maharashtra in his melodious voice. While proposing, Rigveda Senad apprised everyone about the various activities done by the organization.

The President of the organization, Adv Raman Senad guided the attendees. He said that the organisation gets inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to fight against injustice. “We have done many socially useful works, be it redressal of irregular water distribution problem, problem of irregular collection of garbage or problem of encroachment, we have tried to provide justice to the people,” he said.
“Along with this, food was also distributed for 400 to 500 persons daily through Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Sakkardara Police Station for 45 days during the Covid-19 pandemic. When then students of Vidarbha who had gone to Kota city of Rajasthan for education came back, the organization made arrangements for food and drinking water for more than 200 students. We have fulfilled our responsibility by organizing plasma and blood donation camps last year.
Dr. Dilip Vairagade, Bhagwandas Rathi and Adv Rajendra Gillurkar were present on the dais. The programme was conducted by Shubham Shukla and vote of thanks was proposed by. Rajendra Gillurkar. The program ended with the national anthem.
Shailendra Gadge, Omkar Senad, Dr. Shrirang Varadpande, Milind Chauhan, Bhau Bhoyar, Atharva Senad, Gaurav Shahkar, Swapnil Varade, Shashi Thakur, Praveen Ghule and other workers worked hard for success of the event.
