The shell-shocked students of LLB Fourth Semester on Thursday stormed the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) and demanded explanation over the blunder. However, they had to return disappointed as the Pro-VC could not give any satisfactory reply or assurance.

It may recalled, the RTMNU, in a bid to correct one wrong had committed another blunder and also put LLB Fourth Semester students in terrible dilemma. RTMNU shocked the students after declaring fresh results of two papers. Many of the students, who had earlier passed, found themselves either failed or their marks lowered.

Result of LLB Fourth Semester was declared on July 29. Some students got identical marks in Public International Law and Labour Law papers. Moreover, those students who had skipped the papers surprisingly were shown present and granted the same identical marks. The Controller of Examinations Dr Vilas Ramteke had termed the blunder as technical problem. Thereafter, result of LLB Fourth Semester was declared on Wednesday afresh. But, instead of providing relief to the students, the RTMNU put the students in a quandary. Many students who had earlier passed were either shown failed or granted lesser marks than earlier.
