Nagpur News : A couple staying in a live-in relationship was arrested by Social Service branch of crime branch for allegedly carrying a prostitution business in their flat at B wing of Armour Township in Sugat Nagar on Kamptee road. Police caught four women, all in twenties, and customers in the raid.
Sachin Morghade (33) and his partner Savita (30) were handed over to Jaripatka police station. PI Kamal Jadhav and her team had conducted the raid on Sunday evening. In last two weeks, this has been third raid by Jadhav. Earlier two sex rackets were busted at beauty parlour and massage parlour.
Police informed that Savita has left her husband and she has kept her three children at her parent’s house. Police said that Savita, though not married to Morghade, would use it as her surname. Morghade claimed to be a resident of Pardi.
Jadhav informed that the couple has shifted to the flat just a month ago. The couple have taken the flat on rent while the owner stays at Gondia.
Police said that other flat owners had noticed young girls and boys often visiting the couple’s house. Suspecting some illegal activity carried out in the flat, residents complained to the SSB.
Jadhav and her team initially studied the activities going around in the flat and raided the place on the right time. Police said four young women were found in the flat and their customers. Cops informed that two women found from the flat, are from the city.
A case has been registered at Jaripatka police station.
