Nagpur: Shailendra Singh Lohia alias Little Sardar was finally apprehended by the police personnel of Panchpaoli Police Station on April 10, 2015.
On March 31, 2015, Shailendra Singh Lohia alias Little Sardar had fired at two young men identified as Jogender Singh Dillo and Goldy who were sitting in the Indica Manza Car bearing RTO Registration No MH-40/AC 8941 at Patankar Square. However, the youth in the car did not get injured in the firing.
Little Sardar had followed Jogender Singh Dillo and Goldy from Tuli Mall where they had some altercation with the brother-in-law of Little Sardar. Little Sardar was beckoned by him to avenge disrespect to him. A movie style chase was enacted by Little Sardar and at Patankar Square, he fired four shots at Jogender Singh Dillo. Though the incident of firing occurred at Patankar square falling within the jurisdiction of Jaripatka Police Station, since the incident started with a quarrel in Jaswant Mall falling in the jurisdiction of Panchpaoli Police Station, the case is registered in Panchpaoli Police Station.
However, it is not clear if Shailendra Singh Lohia alias Little Sardar had surrendered on his own volition as claimed by him or the police personnel arresting him from Kamptee on the basis of some confidential tip-off as claimed by In-Charge of Panchpaoli Police Station Police Inspector R D Nikam.
