Nagpur: Notorious gangster Little Sardar and his six associates including his brother-in-law has been booked under the dreaded Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). The slapping of MCOCA against these goons has sent a tough message amongst criminals active in city.
It may be noted here that on March 31, a gangwar broke out between the gang of Little Sardar and that of Goldie Sardar at Patankar square in North Nagpur. Firearms were used to browbeat each other. Little Sardar’s brother-in-law was arrested on the same day alongwith to of his associates. However, Little Sardar was absconding and could not be traced for 10 days.
Sources said that the gangwar between the two gangs resulted from money transactions. Goldie Bhullar and his accomplices had thrashed the brother-in-law of Little Sardar after which both the groups were at loggerheads with each other. There are several offences against Goldie and his associates. Many are demanding slapping of MCOCAagainst Goldie gang too.
