Nagpur: A lewd man not only molested and thrashed a 30-year old woman in full public view, but forcibly snatched her mobile phone and fled away. The pervert accused wanted the woman to marry him which she apparently refused. Cops have launched a search to nab the accused.
The accused Pravin Rangari, resident of Chandramani Nagar, Kamptee, around 6.30 pm on Sunday, chased the 30-year old woman while she was returning home and stopped her near Dr Ambedkar Square, Khalasi Line. Later, the accused Pravin asked the woman why she is not talking to him and marrying him. Even before the woman could resond to Pravin’s posers, he heckled and slapped her in full public view. Moreover, the accused forcibly snatched mobile phone of the woman and fled the spot.
Old Kamptee PSI Jamdade has booked the accused Pravin Rangari under Sections 354(D), 323, 504, 392 of the IPC and launched a search to nab him.
