Nagpur: The land shark Dilip Gwalbanshi and 10 members of his gang have been booked in yet another land grab case.
The complainant, Haji Bashir, a plot dealer, told Koradi police that he had purchased two-acre land situated at Shrikrishna Dham Slums on Koradi Road in 2007. However, in 2008, the accused land mafia Dilip Gwalbanshi, Om, Munna and their accomplices ‘captured’ the land and it is still in their ‘possession.’ The accused demanded Rs 5 lakh from Haji Bashir in return for ‘releasing’ the grabbed land. Moreover, in 2017, the accused Dilip Gwalbanshi and his henchmen threatened to kill Bashir and his family.
Koradi police, based on Bashir’s complaint, have booked the accused Gwalbanshi and others. Further probe is underway.
