Nagpur: The most favorite breakfast of Nagpurians, Tarri Poha, has a key ingredient missing! The Aadha-Tammatar (half-cut tomato) is absent from the Tarri of our beloved Poha across the Second Capital of the State. The reason? Soaring tomato prices!

Tomatoes are currently being sold at Rs 100-150/kg across Nagpur. While many food stalls are unable to include tomatoes, there are a few that are managing to meet the demand of their patrons by providing a half-cut tomato along with the Tarri.
