Kidnappers booked for kidnapping land owner

The Gittikhadan Police has registered a case against the accused, who had allegedly kidnapped KRC land owner at gun-point after five days of the incident took place.

According to police sources, Sayed Ayaz Ali Makdum Ali aged 35 years and a resident of Anantnagar, Rathod Layout owns KRC Lawns opposite to the Palloti Church situated on Gorewada Ring Road. According to the complainant, when he was sitting in the office of the Lawn on August 9, 2014, a man identified as Soyeb arrived there with his seven friends. These men were allegedly residents of Kamptee. As soon as they arrived, they brandished a country-made pistol and demanded the victim to give Rs 85 lakhs in cash. The victim is said to have denied to pay the protection money with him.

This angered the assailants and they forcibly kidnapped victim at gun-point and took him to a farm house in Kamptee in a Mahendra Xylo bearing RTO registration number MH NO.31/ED 5607
These accused then forcibly made the victim to sign on a Notary Public document stating that he has sold the KRC Lawn to the accused for an amount of Rs 3.9 Crores. Later the accused had dropped the victim from the very place he was lifted from (KRC Lawns) and warned him of dire consequences if he files report to the police. If he still resorts to go to the police and registers a case, they will kill him along with all family members. The Gittikhadan Police has registered a case under section 363 of Indian Penal Code and are on the look-out for the accused.
