Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj’s Spiritual Message Resonates with Thousands

The opening ceremony, held at the Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education Grounds in Hanuman Nagar, radiated an atmosphere of excitement, devotion, and cultural pride.

The event saw an impressive gathering, with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Revenue and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and Padma Shri award-winning filmmaker Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi attending as chief guests. Other dignitaries included Minister Ashish Jaiswal, former MP Datta Meghe, Dayashankar Tiwari, Ajay Sancheti, Rajesh Loya, and several committee members.

“This Festival is a Yajna of Enlightenment, Training, and Values,” says Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari described Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav as more than a cultural event — calling it a “Sanskar Yajna” (a mission of values and refinement).
“This festival symbolizes enlightenment, learning, and moral development — the three pillars for building a strong society,” he said.
Gadkari expressed confidence in India’s future, stating, “The 21st century belongs to India. To truly lead the world, we must achieve self-reliance not only in education but in ethics and culture as well.”
“Culture is the Voice of Spirituality,” says Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi
Padma Shri Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi said, “India’s mornings begin with spirituality and its evenings shine with culture — Nagpur brings both together on one stage. It’s a rare and beautiful experience.”
He added, “Lord Shri Ram was not just a religious icon but also a connoisseur of art and theater. The play ‘Hamare Ram’ reflects the deep cultural and spiritual soul of India.”
Behind the Success: A Dedicated Organizing Committee
The festival’s smooth execution was credited to a committed organizing team led by Prof. Anil Sole (Chairman), Dr. Gaurishankar Parashar (Vice-Chairman), Prof. Rajesh Bagdi (Treasurer), and Jayprakash Gupta (Secretary). Key members including Balasaheb Kulkarni, Sarang Gadkari, Renuka Deshkar, Sandeep Gawai, Manisha Kashikar, and Sanjay Gulhane played crucial roles in ensuring its success.
The Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav 2025 stands as a powerful celebration of India’s cultural soul — blending art, devotion, and unity to remind citizens of the timeless joy found in their heritage.
