Nagpur: The grand cultural extravaganza ‘Khasdar Mahotsav 2025’ kicks off today at the Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education (IDCPE) ground, Krida Chowk, Hanuman Nagar. The much-loved annual festival, known for its vibrant showcase of art, music, and theatre, will run from November 7 to 18, drawing artists and audiences from across the nation.

Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj, Treasurer of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust, Ayodhya, will grace the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, while Padma Shri Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule will attend as guests of honour.

Prominent political leaders including MLAs Krishna Khopde, Mohan Mate, Pravin Datke, and MLC Sandeep Joshi are also expected to share the stage.

Adding a theatrical touch to the opening night, acclaimed actor Ashutosh Rana will perform his much-celebrated play “Hamare Ram.” The event begins at 6:30 PM.
