Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vayusena Nagar principal killed in road accident

georgeNagpur: In a tragic incident, principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vayusena Nagar Branch, George Thadthil (59) lost his life in a road accident that took place near Kalmeshwar.

The rear tyre of his speeding car burst mid-way, causing the car to overturn, killing him on the spot. Thadthil’s wife and another teacher travelling with him were severely injured. The accident took place near Khapri on Kalmeshwar-Katol road on Sunday at 4.30 pm.
Thadthil’s wife Kochurani Francis (55) and Kendriya Vidyalaya’s Sanskrit teacher Dinesh Vasudev Malode (32), a resident of Jarud, Amravati have been severely injured.

Thadthil and his wife Kochurani had gone to Jarud at Malode’s residence for a family function and were returning in car MH-40/ A 8330 to Nagpur. While returning, the rear tyre of the speeding car suddenly burst near Bonde B.Ed College. The car went out of control and suddenly turned over. All the three passengers were severely injured and George Thadthil died on the spot owing to the extreme injuries.

Kalmeshwar police rushed to the spot and rescued the three from the car. They were rushed to rural hospital where doctors pronounced Thadthil dead on arrival. Kochurani and Malode were treated at the rural hospital before being shifted to a private hospital in Nagpur.
