Nagpur: After the sensational murder of Ayush Pugaliya who has been serving his rare double lifer jail term in Nagpur central jail for kidnapping and murdering a eight year old boy Kush Kataria, by a fellow inmate, his brother Naveen Pugaliya has claimed that his brother was killed under a full-proof plan masterminded by Katariya family. Suraj Vishrao Kotnake, 25, also serving sentence in a murder case, has confessed of committing the crime.
The Nagpur Central Jail was in a chaos when the news of murder came up. As claimed by Naveen Pugaliya, the Kataria family is involved in the murder. He also asserted that he was not informed of his brother’s death even after visiting the jail. “I was in the jail but nobody told me that my brother has been killed. When I visited him last week, he had already informed me that there is a threat to his life”, said Pugaliya. “We are not being told the truth. Police can create any documents about the death. It is being told that he had a fight with a fellow inmate. But, there is no proof for the same”, he added.
In conversation with Nagpur Today, Naveen Pugaliya has also accused that they were being mistreated. He said that his deceased brother was not given a payroll for his treatment as well as at the time of their father’s death.
It is to be mentioned that Ayush Pugaliya was killed this morning by another prisoner, Kotnake, with a sharp object. He, later, confessed to the security personnel of his crime.
The case being a Judicial Death will be probed by CID. The official post-mortem was not conducted till the report was filed.
