Kareena Kapoor Khan took the capital by storm as she walked the ramp for noted designers Falguni and Shane Peacock in the capital for India Couture Week. She was the showstopper for the designers and walked in heavily embellished lehenga.
The name of the collection is Amour De Junagarh and all the models featured wearing the designers’ creations looked ethereal as they walked down the runway. However, Kareena Kapoor Khan completely stole the show in an A-line lehenga that weighed 30 Kgs.
Her sheer dupatta with feather elements added a lot of grace to the ensemble. She had a train that extended as she walked towards the head of the runway. She looked gorgeous and dewy with the apple of her cheeks highlighted along with dark smoky eyes that complimented the outfit.
As per sources, the Veere Di Wedding star said, “When you talk about couture in India, the first name that comes to your mind is that of Shane and Falguni. Whether it is for their cuts for the gowns, lehengas or the fact that they mix Indian and Western so well is what sets them apart.” When she was asked about her rituals she does to walk the ramp the actress said, “No one believes me but I am really nervous; that is because I come across as a very confident girl, but actually ramp is the only thing that makes nervous in life. When you are wearing such a gorgeous outfit it gives you that confidence, it makes you look beautiful and you just sashay down the ramp.”
The lineup of the models that walked the runway had elaborate ensembles and looked gorgeous on Day 3 at the ongoing India Couture Week.
Apart from Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani and Kangana Ranaut for Anju Modi.
