Nagpur: Mankapur police have booked a Karate teacher on the charges of outraging modesty of a 10-year old girl student. Even though the incident allegedly took place on November 6 last year, a case was registered with police on Tuesday, April 16, for reasons better known to the complainant.
The accused Karate instructor has been identified as Nilesh Mishra (35). Nilesh allegedly molested the 10-year old girl student between 7.30 am and 8.30 am on November 6, 2018 during a training session. A complaint in this connection was filed on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Mankapur PSI Wakode, acting on the complaint, booked the accused Nilesh Mishra under Sections 354(A)(B), 506 of the IPC read with Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012. Further probe is underway.
